Every year, The Autism Research Foundation hosts a meeting of some of the most prominent autism researchers in the world. The goal of this meeting is to encourage multidisciplinary collaboration between scientific and medical fields, which we believe is necessary towards understanding a multifaceted disorder.
Our consortium is private because the ideas discussed are underdeveloped, and giving premature information to the autism community would hurt its members more now than it could potentially help them in the future. Donors support this meeting in full confidence that we advance the state of the science behind closed-doors, in preparation for that day of a bigger information reveal.
Periodically, The Autism Research Consortium releases publications concerning the State of the Science. The next State of the Science publication will be made available in 2015.
If you would like to contribute as a member or donor in these special Think Tank meetings where we develop the State of the Science information, please email email@example.com with a letter of your intent. Thank you, in advance, for your support of this vital component of autism research!
